I have been teaching and practicing in the fields of Accounting, Fraud and Ethics for more than 35 years, and I have never seen a resource for small business owners better than Vitalics.

It was very nice speaking with you yesterday. As I mentioned, your Fraud Prevention Toolkit has been very helpful and has helped me begin to focus on the key areas of our business that require policies and checklists to start building our protection measures. Your workbook noted many of the methods that can be used for fraud and I now want to put together a written policy, preventive procedures and checklists to address these methods in accounting, purchasing, shipping/receiving, etc. I want to start with the obvious and most vulnerable areas first such as Bank Statement Review and approval, Bank Reconciliations, PO Review, wire transfers, etc. Once these procedures are in place, we will begin working on other areas until we have a full prevention system in place in all areas.
